Mouser, MacroFab to Host Free Monthly Meetups in Houston

Mouser Electronics is teaming up with MacroFab to host a series of free monthly meetups in the Houston area for anyone interested in electronics hardware, engineering, and manufacturing.

April 20, 2017 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction leader that empowers innovation, is teaming up with MacroFab to host a series of free monthly meetups in the Houston area for anyone interested in electronics hardware, engineering, and manufacturing. The meetings are designed to build a community of professionals who want to learn from one another, gain new insights on emerging technologies, and expand their networks.

"We see this as an excellent opportunity, not just for networking but also for brainstorming," said Kevin Hess, Mouser Electronics' Senior Vice President of Marketing. "With enough good people working together there is no limit to what can be accomplished.

The monthly meetups will be held the last Wednesday of each month. The first session, which focuses on the state of electronics engineering and manufacturing in Houston, is set for 6-8 p.m. Central Daylight Time on April 26 at the offices of MacroFab, located at 2000 West Governors Circle, Suite F, in Houston.

Everyone interested in the electronics industry — from students and engineers to business owners, manufacturers, and buyers — is welcome, though attendance is limited to 100. Each session will include time for networking, project sharing, and discussions and will include door prizes and refreshments.
