Texas Instruments TMPx75 Temperature Sensors

Texas Instruments TMPx75 Temperature Sensors are digital temperature sensors that are ideal for NTC and PTC thermistor replacement. The devices offer a typical accuracy of ±1°C without requiring calibration or external component signal conditioning. IC temperature sensors are highly linear and do not require complex calculations or look-up tables to derive the temperature. The on-chip 12-bit ADC offers resolutions down to 0.0625°C. The TMPx75 features SMBus, Two-Wire, and I2C interface compatibility. The TMP175 device allows up to 27 devices on one bus and up to 8 on one bus. Each of the TMPx75 devices feature an SMBus Alert function. These devices are ideal for extended temperature measurement in a variety of communication, computer, consumer, environmental, industrial, and instrumentation applications. TMPx75A-Q1 devices from Texas Instruments meet AEC-Q100 specifications for use in automotive applications.

TMP75B Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TMP75B Digital Output Temperature Sensor Evaluation Module is a platform for evaluating the performance of the TMP75 under various conditions. The TMP75B is a digital output temperature sensor capable of reading temperatures of -40ºC to +125ºC with 12-bits (0.0625 C) of resolution. The TMP75B uses a two-wire I2C protocol SMBus interface that allows up to eight devices on one bus. The TMP75BEVM consists of two PCBs. The first communicates with the computer, provides power, and sends and receives appropriate digital signals. The second is the TMP75B test board, which contains the TMP75B and its support circuitry.
