Texas Instruments MSP430FR2x Value Line Microcontrollers (MCUs) are from the MSP ultra-low-power MCU series and are general-purpose 16-bit microcontrollers used for a wide range of applications. These include consumer electronics, data logging applications, portable medical instruments, and low-power metering. There are select Texas Instruments MSP430F2x devices that feature extended temperature ranges.
