Texas Instruments ISO5852SEVM IGBT Gate Driver Evaluation Module
Texas Instruments ISO5852SEVM Reinforced Isolated IGBT Gate Driver Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to help evaluate the features of the ISO5852S. The evaluation module allows designers to evaluate device AC and DC performance with a pre-populated 1nF load or with a user-installed IGBT. These IGBTs can be in either of the standard TO-247 or TO-220 packages.
Features
- Reinforced isolated IGBT gate driver with 2.5A source and 5A sink currents
- Short propagation time assures accurate control of the output stage
- Input side operates from a single 2.25V to 5.5V supply
- Output side allows for a supply range from minimum 15V to maximum 30V
- 2A Miller clamp, output short-circuit clamp, fault alarm upon desaturation, input and output under-voltage lock-out with ready pin indication
- Split outputs, active output pull-down, and default low outputs condition
- Upon a DESAT detect the gate driver with low supply or floating inputs
- CMOS compatible inputs
