Silex Technology BR-400AN Networking Module

Silex Technology BR-400AN Networking Module is a mesh network system that allows the user to easily construct a wireless LAN in a place where there is no network. This networking module supports IEEE802.11s mesh network (single unit) and infrastructure and peer to peer multiconnect mode. The 802.11a/b/g/n mesh WLAN converter automatically establishes a wireless LAN between devices. This module can transmit data at 130Mbps with just 7ms round-trip timing. 

Mesh Point Mode and Mesh Access Point Mode

Mesh point mode and mesh access point mode are the two modes of operation available in the BR-400AN. The mesh point mode is when a bridge is connected to another bridge. This mesh point mode allows the connection up to 8 units. The mesh access point mode is when a device is connected to a bridge to access. This mesh access point mode allows the connection up to 16 units.

The BR-400AN module supports IEEE802.11s that makes it easier to construct a mesh network at a low cost compared with the traditional mechanism. The mesh network automatically configures the communication route according to the installation environment. Approximately 1 sec of network configuration time, mesh proves effective in transmitting data in factory and office environment.

Multi-hop Support

Silex Technology BR-400AN Networking Module

The Multi-hop support up to 32 units that constitutes to make one mesh network group, with the maximum of 5 hops. The data is transmitted farthest by overlapping hops, connecting data with multiple stages, and multiple routes.
