Phoenix Contact CONNEXIS PCB Connectors

Phoenix Contact CONNEXIS PCB Connectors are wire-to-board connectors with push-in or crimp connection technology. Push-in technology simplifies and accelerates wiring the field, enabling flexible field and factory wiring for components that are not pre-assembled, allowing tool-free direct contact. Wiring is easier with push-in technology and is the ideal complement to crimp-based PCB connectors. Crimp-based PCB connectors simplify and accelerate automated production, and they are specially designed to meet the requirements for cable assembly. When utilizing connectors with crimp technology, they are suitable for automated production.

Additional features include error-free connection, effortless compatibility, more secure mounting, and design-in support. These wire-to-board connectors are designed for cable assemblies and include connectors and headers with horizontal or vertical connection direction, as well as panel feed-throughs. Available with 2.5mm, 3.81mm, and 5.08mm pitches, the connectors from the D21, D31, and D32 series of the CONNEXIS series are suitable for numerous signal and low-voltage supplies.

CONNEXIS connectors from Phoenix Contact are coded to prevent mismating. The coding works through a mechanical contour that is permanently integrated on or within the plastic housing. Three codings are available: alongside an X- and Y-version, and a Z-version can be added for more complex applications. Downtime is reduced by these connectors due to the flexible compatibility for standard form factor connectors, speeding up development processes and startup phases.
