Microchip Technology EVB-LAN8670-USB-D Evaluation Board
Microchip Technology EVB-LAN8670-USB-D Evaluation Board connects a USB interface to a 10BASE-T1S Ethernet network. The LAN9500A combines a Hi-Speed USB 2.0-to-10/100 Ethernet controller with the LAN8670 Rev D0 10BASE-T1S transceiver. The board serves as a network adapter, enabling host applications to communicate with a 10BASE-T1S network via USB 2.0.
The Microchip EVB-LAN8670-USB-D Board supports multidrop mixing segments and Physical Layer Collision Avoidance for coordinated access to the shared network medium. A screw terminal enables direct cable connection without an additional network connector, and onboard jumpers provide configurable 100Ω edge termination. The board is designed to develop and functionally test 10BASE-T1S control and sensor networks.
