Analog Devices Inc. MAX33040 Shield Evaluation Kit (MAX33040ESHLD) provides a demonstration and development platform for the MAX33040E CAN Transceiver. The MAX33040E is a +3.3V Control Area Network (CAN) transceiver with integrated protection for industrial applications. This device has extended ±40V fault protection on CANH and CANL, ±25V Common-Mode Range (CMR), and ±40kV ESD protection. These features make the MAX33040E CAN Transceiver well-suited for applications where there is moderate electrical noise that can influence the ground levels between two nodes or systems.
