FERD Field Effect Rectifiers

STMicroelectronics Field-Effect Rectifier Diodes (FERDs) help improve applications with designs focusing on trade-off upgrades. The design of the FERDs has allowed both a decrease in the voltage drop and a decrease in the leakage current temperature coefficient. As a result, the runaway safety margin is improved and maybe beyond the typical safety margin of Schottky barrier diodes. Depending on the targeted application and its voltage, developers can now choose the best compromise in terms of forward voltage drop (VF) and leakage current (IR). 

HDMI2C1 ESD Protection / Signal Booster

STMicroelectronics HDMI2C1 ESD Protection / Signal Booster ICs combine mandatory control-signal conditioning and ESD protection for HDMI-compliant products. The HDMI2C1 simplifies the design of HDMI-compliant connections for high-definition set-top boxes such as setop-boxes, streaming devices, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and satellite decoders. These devices occupy up to 70% less board space than an equivalent network of discrete components for ESD protection, boosting, and level shifting of HDMI control signals.
