Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. Because every electronic device requires power, a vast majority of these products utilize a form of power conversion or power supply to deliver the required energy. 

AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors

KEMET AEC-Q200 Qualified Film Capacitors feature capacitance values ranging from 10pF to 210µF with 2% to 20% tolerances. These automotive-qualified capacitors offer a low ESR (1.4mΩ to 1kΩ ESR range), resulting in a high ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. The components also exhibit high 30VAC to 700VAC / 50VDC to 2kVDC voltage ratings.

R82 Film Capacitors

KEMET R82 Film Capacitors are wound or stacked metallized polyester film capacitors with radial leads of tinned wire. The radial leads are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The R82 series offers a 50VDC to 400VDC voltage range, 0.001µF to 4.7µF capacitance range, ±5%, ±10%, and ±20% capacitance tolerance. These capacitors have 5mm lead spacing and are encapsulated with thermosetting resin inside a case that meets UL 94V-0 requirements. Automotive-grade devices that meet AEC-Q200 qualifications are available. KEMET R82 Film Capacitors are ideally suited for blocking, coupling, decoupling, timing, and oscillator circuits. This series is not suitable for across-the-line applications.

Low Power Film Capacitors

KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors feature a 50VDC to 1000VDC voltage range, radial and surface-mount construction, and a +125°C maximum temperature. These film capacitors are ideal for low-power, general applications. KEMET Low Power Film Capacitors include the following series: A50, F161, GMC, GPC, LDB, LDE, PME261, R60, R66, R82, RSB, SMC, SMR, SPC, and SMP253.
